THE HCG DIET - BEGINNING STATS

Today we are starting the hCG Diet, as suggested by our doctor.  If you missed my reason for making the decision to do this, you can read about that here.

This morning, Bill and I weighed on a body composition scale, took full body measurements and took full body photos.  Bill has decided that he does not want his pictures posted here, but when we are finished, he says he may let me post his before and after together.  I have no problem posting my before picture, although I am obviously not happy with it.

These photos are a comparison of the way I looked in 2009 when I was at my heaviest lifetime weight, how I looked a few months into Atkins, and the way I look today.


Here are my beginning statistics:

Total body measurements - 289.625", which includes:
Neck - 12.25"
Biceps - 11.625"
Bust - 37.5"
Midriff - 32"
Waist - 32.75"
Navel - 36.75"
Hips - 40.625"
Thighs - 23"
Calves - 14.25"

Total scale weight - 148.6 pounds, which includes:
54.4 pounds of body fat - 36.6%
94.2 pounds of lean body mass - 54.4%

BMI - 26.3

Waist-to-Height Ratio - 0.520
Waist-to-Hips Ratio - 0.806


Here are Bill's beginning statistics:

Total body measurements - 241.625", which includes:
Neck - 16.5"
Biceps - 14.75"
Chest - 42.5"
Waist - 40.125"
Hips - 38.5"
Thighs - 22.375"
Calves - 14.875"

Total scale weight - 176.8 pounds, which includes:
59.4 pounds of body fat - 33.6%
117.4 pounds of lean body mass - 66.4%

BMI - 27.7

Waist-to-Height Ratio - 0.599
Waist-to-Hips Ratio -1.042
