Today, I became a hunter-gatherer. Well, a gatherer, anyway! I stopped on my way back from my walk/jog at a wild mulberry tree and foraged about an ounce of beautiful, ripe mulberries. I ate them on the way home. If I was really a hunter-gatherer, I probably would have eaten a lot more than one ounce!
I saw a deer cross my path, and wondered what it would be like to kill it and eat it. I don't think I could do it unless I was really hungry! It's hard to think about killing a live creature when I have pre-killed creatures in my freezer at home...
